Level 3 - Dick King-Smith

Dick King-Smith was born in 1922 in Gloucestershire. Before becoming a writer he was a farmer for 20 years. Most of his books are about animals and rural life. He has written more than 100 books, but by far his most famous is The Sheep Pig, which was made into the film Babe.

The Library has lots of his books, including Just Binnie, Pretty Polly, Magnus Powermouse, and Find the White Horse.
